LUCAS'S CURVE FREE-MO

A few years ago in Oklahoma I built a 90 degree Free-mo curve module set but I never really had a plan for it as I mainly built it just so we could have it for a show. Since then it has been slightly damaged in the move, subsequently repaired and now just sits in my garage. My son Lucas has shown an interest in model railroading and I have decided to give the modules to him and let him finish them anyway he sees fit.

He has decided to model a small town on one module with a street crossing over the track. The other module will feature a small farm with a barn.

The first structure that he picked out was a Doughnut shop made by Walthers in the Cornerstone series. He wanted it to make a statement and went with a blue exterior with orange interior. I helped him airbrush the walls and do the basic assembly. When we have time we will finish the painting, add some interior details and lights.
